  Scifinow This is a sci-fi and fantasy styled film website. This one is different to the others I have analyzed as this one has a picture for the background instead of it just being plain white. It has a menu bar across the top and the first picture is of a famous sci-fi horror writer Stephen King. This would draw attention as he is known for his horror writing and his adaptions to the films.  You have many bold colours which keep your attention, and it has many links from films to books and more. Each link has a large amount of information for the topic that it is talking about. This would again target both females and males as they are both action or book related content which they would enjoy.

  Empire White backing with red fonts in a fun font face which is simple but not to plain. First image is responding to a question to catch attention of the audience to the film itself and it may be an older generation which would be interested by the question presented. This is drawing attention to the films and making the audience intrigued. Then by scrolling down a little, we see a section on video games which would draw attention from a certain age bracket. It has reviews of films, interviews and actors/actresses or their producers. It has a Facebook page, and it has 658k followers and on the website, there is a search bar option, and each link will tell you more information about the topic of your choice or a different section of the website. This would be aimed at a majority of males for the sole purpose of it being action or game related but it would also appeal to females for those reasons as well.

  Total films From first look, most of the pictures don’t load so you don’t know if it is talking about the right films for if your new to a certain genre of films as on the website there are tabs for the best films on certain apps/platforms. It does give information about the film which is good, and it also has where you can watch them on and things like google play, Disney plus etc. The films mentioned are also a mix to fit a wide viewing audience as not everyone likes the same genre, so it has musicals, animations and live action films. It also as a tab for release dates so the audience can know when films will be able to be watched and its not just restricted to the cinema or on tv as it talks about both. The colour scheme of this website is rather minimalistic as the main part of the page is white and the header section is black with a band of orange underneath it.     The masthead is a bold red, black and yellow combination to stand out against the pale blue background. The main image is of Johnny Depp as one of his most iconic and well-known characters jack sparrow for the release of the 2011 film pirates of the Caribbean: on stranger tides. It has cover lines referring to the new cast members, the new captain America, transformers 3 and more well known and loved movie franchises and films. It has no supporting images as the main one takes up the majority of the page layout on this cover. The colour schemes used are to create a contrast between the character and the information which is being conveyed on the cover. It would also gather more attention due to the ‘essential 2011 preview’. This would grab people attention as it may be information about films or other interesting factors such as maybe release dates or interviews or a preview of the films.   The masthead is in a classic bold typeface in a white font colour to stand out. The main image is of the male protagonist with a dinosaur behind him in a menacing scheme of dark colours. The contrast of the red font for the title of the film is to portray the horror aspect and the element of danger possibly. The colour schemes for the film are mainly dark colours to represent horror and the mystery aspect that the film brings as it holds a lot of suspense. The cover lines talk about similar films such as Star Wars or different genres such as family films and others.   The cover lines also talk about horror movies to see in cinema, and it has a review quote talking a little about the film. The target audience for this film would be a male audience predominantly due to the genre being horror .

  Total Film is a British film magazine published 13 times a year and it publishes monthly and a summer issue is added every year since issue 91, 2004. The colour schemes used inn this poster match the theme and idea of the film. This poster is on the film Cruella so the colour scheme for the background and the title matches her signature colours. The masthead is in white with black spots to symbolize the dalmatians used in both the original and the remake of the film 101 dalmatians which this film is a follow up from. The red background gives a contrast against the black and white used in the main picture of the character/actress and it is also a statement colour from the lipstick as well. The typeface for this magazine is quite bold to catch attention and with the composition of it being placed above the main image creates the contrast with the majority of the text being in white to stand out.
